Access Testing

Prospective NMMU students who have been referred to write an access test can book their test by:

• Calling 041 5042918 (please note this number is extremely busy)
• Booking online via http://caarbooking.nmmu.ac.za/bookings.aspx or
• Calling NMMU’s Contact Centre on 041 5041111

Testing will start from early January.

About 40% of those who graduate annually successfully completed the Centre for Access Assessment and Research (CAAR) test at the beginning of their studies.

The majority of those tested (56%) live outside of Port Elizabeth. These testing sites are in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Umtata, East London, George, Polokwane, Durban, Queenstown and Bloemfontein.
